25% Sodium Chloride Solution (salt water)

Trinity Manufacturing Inc generates a side stream of sodium chloride 25% (saltwater) solution from the chemical production process of chloropicrin.

The saltwater solution is purified through a chemical process on site yielding a salt quality that is comparable to dry salt available through normal commercial channels. The salt water solution is currently being used as an effective dye carrier in the textile industry and laminated wood flooring industry. The salt water solution has proven to be an excellent low cost alternative to commercial grade salt.

The saltwater solution is available in a limited geographic area due to freight considerations. The saltwater solution is available only in its liquid state and therefore restricted to a 150 mile radius of the manufacturing site in Hamlet, NC.
